What is Spartan Race?

Spartan Race is a leader in the sport of obstacle racing, offering races of varying distances and difficulty ranging from 5km to 50km. Founded in the United States, the first Spartan Race was held in 2010 and since then, has expanded globally to more than 25 countries worldwide.

What are Obstacle Course Racing?

Obstacle course racing is a sport which combines a running element with various physical challenges in the form of obstacles throughout a course. Courses may include obstacles that require physical strength, endurance or mental toughness with examples of obstacles such as wall climbs, monkey bars, spear throw, carrying of heavy objects, crawling under barbed wire and traversing through bodies of mud or water.

Spartan Race Hong Kong

The first Hong Kong Spartan Race was held in 2016. Since then, Hong Kong has hosted almost every type of Spartan Races, including a Trifecta weekend where over a period of two days, participants are able to race a Sprint, Super and Beast and earn themselves an extra Trifecta Weekend Medal. Hong Kong with its unique combination of urban and rural terrains so closely compact, offers great potential for a unique Spartan race and experience, and we continue to try and find a way to bring that experience to all Spartans wanting to experience that in Hong Kong.
